Post-doctoral position available in experimental Nanoelectronics/-spintronics
Employer: School of Physics, Trinity College Dublin
Website: http://people.tcd.ie/krsticv
Location: Dublin, Republic of Ireland
Position description
The group is seeking a well-qualified and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with interest in working on temperature and magnetic-field dependent electrical and spin transport in nanodevices based on single and ensembles of nano-objects. The overall goal is to explore fundamental transport properties of nano-device structures focusing on contact-interfaces, including spin- and charge-carrier injection, and device-layout in view of nano-device-design strategies and benchmarking for applications.
The post-doctoral fellowship projects include experiments on semiconductor and metal nanowires (germanium, silicon, silver, copper), graphene, and organic thin films including work on the (continued) development of a high-frequency contact-less conductivity measurement technique.[More]3 December 2010
