BS. Bogazici University Physics Dept.

I am a PhD. student of Prof. Savas Berber at Gebze Institute of Technology Physics Department. We make simulations and modelling of nanostructures using first principle calculations (mainly DFT). My thesis is about defective nanostructures. Specifically I work on pristine, defective and doped diamondoids, carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, nanopeapods.
I am currently a visiting scholar working at Prof. David Tomanek's group at Michigan State University about my thesis projects.
