Brief CV
Evgeniya Volkova was awarded her M.Sci. degree (Hons 1st Class) in Applied Mathematics from Izhevsk State Technical University (Russia) in 2010. In 2010, she began her PhD study at the University of Nottingham with Drs. Arthur Jones and Richard Brooks (Faculty of Engineering) and Dr. Elena Bichoutskaia (School of Chemistry) working on computations of elastic properties of inorganic fullerenes (IF) nanoparticles and shock absorbing propreties of IFs in the SiC/Al nanocomposites.
