Brief CV
Since 2003 researcher at the Department of Physics, University of Rome Tor Vergata. Her research has focused on the semiconductor and metallic systems and since 2000, on nanostructures such as nanoparticles, quantum dots and nanotubes. Her expertise goes from the growth of these systems to their structural and electronic characterization through different spectroscopies, microscopies and diffraction techniques such as scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, transmission and reflection electron energy loss spectroscopy including EELNES and EXELFS, transmission electron microscopy, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and diffraction. Recently her research field has expanded to solar cell characterization. She has participated and has been the coordinator of several beam time requests at synchrotron radiation facilities. She has participated in several national and international research projects funded ( PRA-INFM, PAIS-INFM, COFIN, PRIN, projects INFN, bilateral projects of great importance in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health projects, Italy-France Galileo projects, a project of the Government of Queensland (Australia), EOARD). Referee for national projects in the UK, in Romania. Member of the editorial board of "Advances in Nano Research, An International Journal " published by TECNOPRESS since 2013. It's regular referee in his field of expertise for 15 prestigious international journals. She presented the results of her scientific work at about 40 conferences, presenting over 60 communications (including invited, oral and poster). Member of the organizing committee of 5 international conferences. She is co-author of 103 publications in international ISI journals. Cited more than 1070 times, h-index 16. Twelve of her works have been selected to be published in the " Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science and Technology ", published by APS and AIP .
