RESEARCH AREAS OF INTEREST:
• Physical Chemistry of oxide systems (reaction mechanisms, equilibrium thermal phase, correlation structure-properties)
• Sol-Gel Science, topic initiated in Romania through her own research (sol-gel chemistry, the structure of oxide materials from gel phase, films, powders, membranes, hybrid inorganic-organic nanocomposites, nanotubes oxide)
• oxide materials with special properties (magnetic, optical and electrical)
• vitreous oxide systems with special properties (chemical and thermal resistant, emails)
